Are you one of the more than 65 million Americans who have high blood pressure? What is even more frightening is that you could be amongst the many who doesn’t even know they have it – and during this time it can harm your heart, your blood vessels and other organs of your body. It is important to monitor this by having your blood pressure taken regularly.

The good news is we can prevent hypertension and beat it by adopting the right high blood pressure diet early on. The ideal hypertension diet will lower blood pressure, lower the risk of heart disease, stroke and even some types of cancer and will help you maintain a healthy weight. There is no magical ingredient and they are not hard to find. What you need to find out is which foods are healthy and curable and WHY, because remember it is what we eat that can cause this disease and at the same can help treat it.

Omega 3 – Fatty Acids

Increase your omega 3 fatty acid consumption- you’ll find these in salmon, tuna, and halibut. The American Heart Association recommends eating fish (particularly fatty fish such as mackerel, lake trout, herring, sardines, albacore tuna, and salmon) at least 2 times a week.

These particular acids not only lower cholesterol levels but are proven to lower high blood pressure as well.

Whole oats

You need to increase your intake of whole oats to control not only blood pressure, but your cholesterol and blood sugar levels.

Fruits

Increase your intake of vegetables and fruits; these ALONE are higher in potassium, magnesium and calcium – all nutrients that have been linked to significantly lower blood pressure. Consume bananas, melons, oranges for your fruit and sweet potatoes, spinach and soy beans for your vegetables.

Vegetables

Garlic and onion have been used for centuries in treating hypertension, they have the ability to strengthen the heart and maintain the blood flow thereby regulating the pressure of the blood. The healing properties of garlic alone magical – start loving the smell and the taste of garlic. Start using them in your sour cream, your salads, soups, pastas and other foods.

Other vegetables to consider are potassium enriched such as sweet potatoes, spinach and soy bean.

Vitamin C

Increase your intake of products that contain vitamin C whether is it through a vitamin supplement of increasing your fruit intake such as oranges.

Adjusting your diet to include these foods combined with some regular exercise you can be sure your blood pressure will lower. This is an easy and natural home cure accessible by all. It does require some research and perseverance and in many cases is a better alternative to using harmful medications or drugs.

While you might develop it you can easily lower or control it. The best way to prevent developing it is to keep a close eye on it from the beginning.Older adults may be more prone to developing hypertension but if you start at a young age you can prevent it easier. There are a few things you want to watch for that cause high blood pressure. This is why we develop high blood pressure because we are not aware of what is causing it.

Weight plays a major role in developing high blood pressure. Overweight people are more likely to develop high blood pressure but do not be discouraged. Losing as little as ten pounds can help your blood pressure significantly.

Once you lose a measly ten pounds just imagine how much easier it will be to lose even more. A great way to keep losing and maintain a healthy weight is by a healthy diet. Your diet factors in to developing high blood pressure as well.

High amounts of salt and sodium intake can cause hypertension. Try to limit your meals on salt and opt for other seasonings instead. There is a wide variety of seasonings available so you are sure to find something you really like.

Also try to incorporate fresh fruits and vegetables into your diet. Eating more of these will help your blood pressure not to mention you will feel healthier as well.

Do you use tobacco or drink large amounts of alcohol? If so, this could be why you have developed high blood pressure. Both of these can raise your blood pressure so if possible try to quit or at least cut back on your use and consumption. This will significantly help lower or maintain a normal level of blood pressure.

African Americans are more prone to develop hypertension. It starts at an early age and can be more severe. African Americans also have a higher death rate from kidney disease and stroke than white Americans. Even so, you can still treat high blood pressure effectively.

Do you exercise regularly? If not you might be at risk for developing hypertension than those that do regular exercise. Luckily you can easily fix this by doing physical activity for at least thirty minutes a day. You might say, “I don’t have thirty minutes a day to set aside.” While you may not have thirty minutes all at once to set aside, you could probably find it easier to set aside ten minutes at a time.

If you find yourself stressed very easily over anything and everything you could easily develop high blood pressure. Yes, stress is a factor of high blood pressure. Stress is very common for many people but easily treatable. Is there something you enjoy doing that relaxes you?

Consider picking up a hobby that you find relaxing and lets you de-stress. Do this whenever you feel stressed to the max and do it often. Keeping your stress level low will help keep your blood pressure low as well.

Last but not least, certain medications can cause you to develop hypertension pressure. Are you on medications? You might consider talking with your doctor about their side effects and if they cause high blood pressure. Every time you start a new medication you want to ask your doctor about this.

It is never too late to take better care of your health so consider starting today. Keeping control of your blood pressure will help lower your risk of a stroke or heart and kidney disease. Talk with your doctor about any concerns or ask any questions you might have.

Several factors influence hypertension, however it must be fully understood that these factors change from person to person. Some people inherit high blood pressure genetically whereas others develop it from an unhealthy diet and weight gain. These hypertension causes are important to understand how they apply to each patient concerned about their blood pressure. Here are 6 main causes of hypertension found amongst most sufferers of the disease.

· Obesity. Chronic weight gain increases the chance of developing high blood pressure by 500%. A massive 2/3 of the cases of hypertension can be attributed to obesity. It is a serious health issue that is plaguing the developed countries of the world.

· Sodium Sensitivity. Sodium can increase the amount your cells release water inside your blood. This will increase blood pressure as your blood gets “thicker” or “heavier” in a sense.

· Genetics. In 30% of cases the patient has inherited the disease through their genes. This does NOT mean that the patient is untreatable, they can still practice long term lifestyle changes to combat the disease even if there are of normal health and weight.

· Drugs. Specific medications such as different forms of hormone enhancers and some anti-inflammatory drugs can play a large contribution to high blood pressure. It is up to the patient to seek medical advice concerning their drug therapy but some studies are debatable and results limited. However what I always advise people; is to stay away from using drugs if possible. Because you don’t 100% know the side affects that the specific drug will have on your body, thus to play it safe always try to seek out a more natural alternative.

So these hypertension causes are to be taken into account when planning your blood pressure management. Each cause is preventable and if you feel like you have tried everything don’t give up. There are numerous alternatives to just medicinal drugs, the easiest alternative is to be as healthy as you can be, being the right weight and eating healthy plus exercise is the first step to healthy blood pressure levels.

Though not commonly considered, there is a direct link between diabetes and hypertension. Many overlook this fact, because they believe the two to be unrelated. After all, diabetes deals with blood sugar levels and hypertension deals with blood pressure. This misconception is quite false, however. There is an easily proven, easily seen correlation between diabetes and hypertension. It is important to understand this in order to maintain your highest degree of health when faced with either or both of these conditions.

The link between them, to simply explain it, is this: when your body produces more insulin than normal, it can effect certain key points, such as blood vessels found in the kidneys. These vessels can expand with the insulin and begin to retain salt. Your kidneys can malfunction with that. Also, diabetes can cause the vessels to harden. This restricts the flow of fluids and causes blood pressure to rise, resulting in hypertension.

As shown above, having diabetes puts you at high risk for developing hypertension. Hypertension is twice as likely to occur in individuals with diabetes than those without and it will develop in over sixty percent of people with Type II diabetes.

Because of this, it is essential that you understand how to avoid hypertension. Diabetes takes enough of a toll on your body without adding these serious effects. Together, diabetes and hypertension can raise the risk for heart attack, kidney malfunction, heart failure and more. So you must learn the steps to take to avoid hypertension. Discuss this with your doctor and also note some of the basic lifestyle changes listed below:

One: lower your blood pressure with a diet rich in fruits and vegetables. Meat and dairy products can raise your pressure levels. Try to substitute them with a vegetarian diet. While you do not have to completely cut meat and dairy products out entirely, you should to eat them moderation.

Two: exercise. The easiest way to keep both your blood pressure down and also maintain a healthy insulin level is to exercise. Consult with your doctor to discover your healthy bodyweight and then take the steps to achieve it. Steady, daily exercise will do much for your body.

Three: medication. There are some medications available that could help keep your blood pressure in check. You must, of course, make sure that these will not combat against any other medicine you are taking. Your doctor will be able to prescribe them to you and explain just what they do.

Diabetes and hypertension are related. Yes, it is possible to have one without the other and, yes, there are certainly millions of people who do. That does not change the fact, however, that you are twice as likely to develop high blood pressure when you have diabetes.

It cannot be stressed enough that diabetes and hypertension are linked together and you it pays to do everything you can to stop them both from forming in your body. Of course, some may suggest different types of therapy, along with the lifestyle changes we mentioned above. Techniques such as color therapy are quite popular these days and have sparked much debate over their efficacy. Should you decide to try these methods to replace or compliment your other efforts, it is important to understand the way they work, and to consult with your doctor.

Hypertension or high blood pressure is a common health problem of older age groups and some younger adults. Hypertension varies depending on the age, height, weight, and gender.

Most physicians and doctors are recommending pharmaceutical medicines which are being sold in drug stores, as the means to treat hypertension. Many researchers and scientists are beginning to lean towards the natural ways as the means to treat hypertension. This is because of the unpleasant outcomes which may result when you continuously take pharmaceutical medicines.

In this busy stressful life, it is highly important for old and younger adults to have a systematic check of their blood pressure. High blood pressure can be controlled with natural remedies and changes in diet and lifestyle. Reducing your stress can also improve your general health, including your blood pressure. Adopting healthy lifestyle habits and diet habits prove to be an effective step in both preventing and controlling high blood pressure. Blood pressure medications can be added if lifestyle changes alone are not effective in controlling your high blood pressure.

Having hypertension is one indication that you are living an unhealthy lifestyle, and hence leading a healthy lifestyle can probably help you to control your blood pressure and lead a healthier and happier life. Hypertension is a disease that is typically easy to treat with natural means. There are a number of natural ways to treat hypertension. Most of the natural remedies used for treating hypertension are safe and effective. Researches found that hydrotherapy, special vegetarian diet, exercise, herbal tea, and adequate water have good effect in controlling hypertension.

Diet change is one natural way of treating hypertension. Consume either raw or cooked garlic to help in lowering hypertension. Garlic, which contains a compound called adenosine which functions both as a muscle relaxant and as an aid in vaso dilation, helps in dilating the muscles of blood vessels, thereby avoiding blood clots and lowering blood pressure. Eat high-potassium diet, such as bananas, potatoes, tomatoes, skimmed milk, oranges, watermelon, soya beans, almond and spinach, to help lower your blood pressure. Fruits and vegetables are best sources of vitamin C, potassium and soluble fiber, all of which have an effect in lowering blood pressure. Fishes which contains omega-3 fatty acids can be a good diet for people who are experiencing hypertension. Omega-3 fatty acids have the ability to dilate blood vessels and significantly lower blood pressure. Food rich in calcium regulates the heart?s muscle contraction, making it easier for managing blood pressure. Many people have successfully treated hypertension with apple cider vinegar. It is rich in so many vitamins and nutrients that are thought to be helpful in lowering hypertension. Hawthorne berries can also be used to treat hypertension.

Drinking lot of water and getting enough rest are holistic and natural way of treating hypertension, besides taking natural medications. Enough sleep, regular exercise and healthier lifestyle with recreation time can control your blood pressure. You can also control your hypertension through weight management, meditation and relaxation. All these natural health remedies rely on how you balance your diet, intake of supplements and your lifestyle, in order to control your high blood pressure.

Besides the above tips, you can refer a lot of web-sites which show the exact step-by-step formula of natural treatments for Hypertension.

My life is about health, actually natural health! That is what I do and have done for almost 7 years straight but I have been an advocate of natural health since I was young. And my company’s natural health doctor, our researchers, and myself have studied high blood pressure (also called hypertension) for almost seven years and we’ve discovered one good thing about it- you can naturally treat hypertension with no medication.

However, millions of people spend billions of dollars seeing doctors, paying for visits, getting check-ups and buying expensive medication, but never realize that God created the miraculous human body to run near perfect and cure itself naturally. And the travesty is not only the financial aspect of the ‘silent killer’, but by lowering your high blood pressure with synthetic medication you could be hurting your body by not curing the cause.

The ‘Silent Killer’

If you don’t know already, high blood pressure got its nickname, the silent killer, because it does exactly that? it will kill you with NO WARNING. In fact, over 50,000 people died last year because of this disease. I recently read one article which called it a ‘widow maker’. And I couldn’t agree more; we all know someone who has lost a loved one because of this deadly disease.

But in the process of slowly killing you, it could cause well over one hundred health problems including obesity, stroke, cardiovascular disease, depression, Alzheimer’s disease, kidney stones, diabetes and numerous other diseases. But I can guarantee your doctor did not tell you that the miracle pill will not treat any of these diseases. In fact, the path of HBP medication will lead you back to the hospital for another visit, another disease to treat and anther pay check cashed by the medical industry. A little fishy, right?

If you do the math (and thousands are already sold), you could save literally multiple thousands of dollars and add decades to your life by naturally treating high blood pressure.

The Good Thing about High Blood Pressure

By now you know there is nothing good about high blood pressure. Whatever career; whatever race; whatever weight; whatever stage- you can treat high blood pressure naturally.

One of the best things about health is it seems that I learn something new everyday. In fact, I spend part of my week researching the latest rave in natural health and it always amazes me to hear about the human body. In fact, my personal faith is seriously strengthened each week learning something new about our bodies. And you would be amazed at some of the e-mails I have received from customers who have dropped drastic points (even stages) in weeks from simple natural health tips that work. Funny their doctors forgot to mention these tips?

Here is word from our company’s personal health doctor, Dr. Scott Saunders.

“As a medical doctor with over ten years of research in the field of nutritional and alternative medicine, I’ve seen a great deal of misinformation. As I’ve read through the reports by Barton Publishing, I’ve been impressed by how well-researched and comprehensive these reports are. There is no hype or pushing a specific type of therapy, just well-researched alternative treatments and some anecdotes. People are different so there are a variety of ways to heal illnesses. These reports take this into account, giving you many options and providing the information you need to heal yourself and be independent of drugs and “experts.”

Naturally Treat Hypertension

Treating your high blood pressure naturally is different from the traditional method of popping a pill and PRESTO! Many of our customers will try all of the treatments and drop points in weeks or months. Yet, many of our customers might try one to two different treatments and will drop points. Whatever the case, we recommend the following treatments.

1.	Your body! Your body must be treated as one of your most important assets. I like the famous health clich

Hypertension, referred to as high blood pressure, HTN or HPN, is a medical condition in which the blood pressure is chronically elevated. It was previously referred to as nonarterial hypertension[citation needed], but in current usage, the word “hypertension”[citation needed] without a qualifier normally refers to arterial hypertension.

Hypertension: Symptoms of High Blood Pressure

One of the most dangerous aspects of hypertension is that you may not know that you have it. There are generally no symptoms of high blood pressure, so you usually don’t feel it. In fact, nearly one-third of people who have hypertension don’t know it. The only way to find out if you have high blood pressure is to get your blood pressure checked on a regular basis. This is especially important if you have a close relative who has high blood pressure.

Causes of Hypertension

Race. African-Americans are more likely to develop high blood pressure than their Caucasian counterparts.

Gender. Men run a greater overall risk for developing high blood pressure than women do. However, women who are postmenopausal, especially if 20 pounds or more overweight, are at risk for developing high blood pressure.

Primary, or essential, high blood pressure accounts for 95% of all cases of hypertension.3Secondary high blood pressure, which is caused by another disease or medicine, is less common.

Restrictive cardiomyopathy

Dilated cardiomyopathy

Mitral stenosis

Mitral regurgitation

The other major type of hypertension, termed Secondary Hypertension, has an identifiable cause. It is due to disease. For example, kidney (renal) hypertension is due to high blood pressure within the arteries that supply blood to the kidneys. The underlying cause is kidney disease or conditions like atherosclerosis, which narrow or block the renal arteries. Secondary hypertension may also result from hormonal imbalances, particularly in the kidney’s adrenal glands.

Experts believed that this system evolved millions of years ago to protect early humans during drought or stress by retaining salt and water and narrowing blood vessels to ensure adequate blood flow and repair injured tissue. With industrialization, however, this system wreaks havoc on modern humans by intensifying the effects of high-salt diets and sedentary lifestyle. Of particular importance in these harmful responses are the hormone aldosterone and a peptide (which are components of proteins) called angiotensin II.

Treatment of Hypertension

The goal of treatment is to reduce blood pressure so that you have a lower risk of complications.

There are many different medicines that can be used to treat high blood pressure. Such medicines include:

Alpha blockers

Angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors

Angiotensin receptor blockers (ARBs)

Calcium channel blockers

Beta blockers. These medications reduce the workload on your heart, causing your heart to beat slower and with less force. When prescribed alone, beta blockers don’t work as well in blacks — but they’re effective when combined with a thiazide diuretic.

Individuals with diabetes have a higher mortality risk of about 60%. However, the risks jump drastically, approximately 3 times higher in those individuals that have type 2 diabetes and hypertension.

Among the health related concerns are retinopathy, nephropathy, stroke, and coronary heart disease. The risk of CVD increases in individuals that have diabetes and hypertension to about 75%. This is considered to be a a contributing factor to the mortality rate.

Typically, in individuals with both diabetes and hypertension will also have risks that can become even higher because of other health factors. Such as, central obesity, inflammation of the left ventricular hypertrophy, dyslipidaemia, microalbuminuria, insulin resistance and hyper coagulation. Any of these factors can increase the possibility of developing CVD.

Interestingly, a published study has revealed that many individuals that have sought medical attention in connection with their type 2 diabetes and hypertension do not receive adequate treatment.

This is especially true in those patients that have repeatedly had elevated blood pressure readings. For the most part, the medication is not modified to meet the needs of the hypertension and the diabetes.

In many cases, a person with diabetes and hypertension will need to take more than one medicine to control the condition. Generally, they will have to take about three different medications in order to gain control over the blood pressure. It is also possible that the doctor will have to change the prescriptions a few times in order to find the right combination for the individual with the least side effects.

Some studies have revealed benefits of using ACE inhibitors in diabetic patients with hypertension as well. This makes using the ACE inhibitors the best course of treatment in many situations. However, your medical care provider will have to determine the best treatment for you. Each case is different and they have varying factors that should be considered by the physician prior to beginning treatment.

A doctor will consider the age of the individual, the severity of their circumstances, their overall health and existing medications before the determination can be made.

It is important that you reveal any relevant medical history to the doctor. This should include allergies to medication. If you have any questions or concerns about the treatment your doctor suggests for you for diabetes and hypertension treatment you should further discuss your options.

It is important also that you know what to look for as far as side effects and complications so you can immediately notify your doctor if you notice you are beginning to suffer from any of them.

High blood force, too called hypertension, is harmful because it makes the eye job harder to pump blood to the system and it contributes to hardening of the arteries or atherosclerosis and the growth of eye bankruptcy. Hypertension is an exceedingly popular health trouble, affecting about one in four adults in the U. S. There are two types of hypertension. Hypertension without a recognizable reason is categorized as vital or main hypertension. When hypertension has a particular reason, such as in cases of kidney disease, it is considered incidental hypertension. Several factors and conditions may beat a character in its growth.

Some factors including smoke ,being overweight, deficiency of physiological action, salt in the diet, overly more alcohol intake, strain, old age ,genetics ,household story of higher blood force ,chronic kidney disease and adrenal and thyroid disorders. Hypertension is considered to be present when an individual’s systolic blood force is consistently 140 mmHg or greater, and/or their diastolic blood force is consistently 90 mmHg or greater. Severe hypertension can induce symptoms such as worry , sleepiness, disarray and coma. Hypertension under this condition needs to be controlled, but prolonged hospitalization is not inevitably required.

Hypertension is typically treated by making changes in your lifestyle, and with drug therapy. Weight decrease and routine aerobic drill (e. g. jogging) are recommended as the best steps in treating balmy to conservative hypertension. Regular balmy drill improves blood flowing and helps to cut resting eye pace and blood force. Stress administration, biofeedback and meditation may assist you cut your blood force. Relaxation therapy, such as meditation, that reduces environmental strain, higher stable levels and over-illumination can be an extra method of ameliorating hypertension.

Avoid drunkenness overly more alcohol, which is associated with higher blood force. Eat a robust diet that includes oodles of fruits and vegetables. Don’t smoke. Smoking and higher blood force are leading danger factors for having an eye blast or shot subsequently in living. Acupuncture and acupressure have both been used really successfully to lower blood force readings. Garlic, onions, carrots, and celery are known to cut blood force. Garlic is the better known of the group, and garlic pills and capsules can be purchased at health nutrient stores that are just as efficient at reducing blood force as eating sweet garlic.
